What to expect
Have you ever boarded down an active volcano? The experience starts with an off-road transfer from Leon city, followed by a one-hour hike to the top of the Cerro Negro volcano. On the way up, short informative stops are contemplated, shedding light on the history of the volcano, geology, the main crater and lava rock fields.
